Pambavasan Nair is a well known philanthropist. His charity work is not restricted to any caste, creed, or religion, but is purely based on humanitarian grounds. He extends all possible help within his capacity, providing financial support for medical treatments, child education, marriages of girls, and the construction of temples, churches, mosques, and houses.
To make his charitable work more systematic and to reach out to the truly deserving, Mr. Pambavasan Nair established a trust in the name of his late parents, called the CMN Trust – Chandramma Madhavan Nair Trust. Through this initiative, he channels educational aid for children, medical assistance, marriage support, and pensions for deserving families.
When moving into his new house, he sought to do something different and announced a project called "A Home of Your Own", aimed at providing 50 houses within five years to shelter poor families in need. Out of which, 20 houses have already been handed over to beneficiaries
During the pandemic, he entrusted his hospital in Kerala to the government for two years to serve as a quarantine and treatment center for COVID-19 patients. As a quarantine facility, it proved to be a great relief to the poor and less fortunate, including native expatriates returning home. The hospital was handed back to him only after the government eased COVID restrictions.
Mr. Pambavasan Nair He has been regularly donating to numerous temple construction & reconstruction works in India including Ram Janmbhoomi (Ayodhya), Siddhivinayak (Mumbai), Thirupathi (Andhra Pradesh), Shaneeshwara (Ahmednagar), and Anthimahakalan (Kerala), to name a few. In times of crisis, such as floods and pandemics, he has consistently contributed to Government Distress and Relief Funds.
His social & cultural commitment is also well praised. He has been a steadfast supporter of community development in Bahrain, regularly sponsoring programs organized by registered associations to successfully conduct cultural, social, and educational initiatives that strengthen community bonds and preserve heritage.
He was unanimously elected twice as the President of Kerala Social & Cultural Association. During his tenure, he got the opportunity to conduct "Kalamezhuthum Pattum", a traditional temple art form of Kerala performed by world-famous artist Sri Kallattu Manikandan, it was conducted for the first time in the GCC. He was determined to promote ancient age-old art forms and to introduce it to the coming generations. Also, the prestigious "Mannam Awards" in commemoration of Bharata Kesari Mannathu Padmanabha Pillaiwas introduced to honour the deserving Indian personalities in their respective field every year. In his tenure he introduced Mannam Balakalolsavam 10-day event exclusively for the children, rendering a platform to showcase their talent.
